Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious CNG Conversion Technician to join our growing team at Portland Gas Limited. You will be responsible for converting petrol-powered vehicles to CNG at one of our certified conversion centers, ensuring every installation meets our quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CNG kit installations including cylinders, fuel injectors, and electronic control units
Conduct pre and post-conversion vehicle inspections
Diagnose and resolve technical issues with CNG systems
Maintain accurate records of all conversions carried out
Adhere strictly to safety protocols and quality standards
Support training of junior technicians where required
Requirements:
Minimum of OND/HND in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or related field
2+ years experience in auto mechanics or vehicle conversion
Knowledge of CNG systems is an advantage
NASENI certification is an added advantage
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
